This is the day that the Lord has made - I will rejoice and be glad in it!!! I have never felt this excited about beginning a New Year. What an exciting time we live in! Hear me today - Don't allow this Holiday Season to suffocate the Spirit of the Lord that is trying to speak to us…. This is not about a simple calendar change, but I really believe its the beginning of a NEW SEASON in the realm of the Spirit! This is the time of a season of release and activation of the Apostolic & Prophetic Order in the earth today. 2006 was The Year of Establishment for us & Church Alive of Atlanta. 2006 has been the Year of Foundations. We celebrated the end of 2006 with our CHURCH ALIVE Family and we are so excited that God is building a great Church of Love, Acceptance & Forgiveness! 2006 is over and gone and God has brought us to the Kingdom for such a time as this! THIS IS OUR TIME! God have given me a Special Word concerning 2007! Are you ready for it - here it is - "Open Heaven in 2007"! I truly believe that this is the year that God will open the Windows of Heaven and pour out blessings like never before! CHURCH ALIVE - ITS OUR TIME! I don't know if I have ever felt about a New Year like I do this one. God is stirring my soul and those of many others that have been feeling as if they were living on a Merry-Go- Round. It's our time to "Break the Circle Cycle" and head into our Destinies. This will be a year of Fulfillment!!! Get ready to have delayed prophecies - prayers and promises come to pass quickly. I am releasing a prophetic Word today that 2007 will bring a release of Money and Miracles!!! I really believe from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. Something new & Supernatural is being birthed in the Spirit. ?We are literally "Pregnant with Promise"….. But remember the birth pangs Mary felt was at an intersection where there was no place to put what she was birthing. Some of you are at the intersection of Direction and Destiny. The bumpy ride you've had to endure has been to get you ready to give birth at the predestined time and place God has prepared for you. Remember while the Inn-Keeper was rejecting Mary and Joseph - the Angels were talking about them to the shepherds in the field! If you feel as if you've been on the bumpiest - most inconvenient ride of your life and the place you thought could house your dreams has rejected you ---- Get ready!!! God is getting ready to birth the miraculous and the supernatural in your life !!! I really believe we are at the very precipice of a prophetic explosion in the earth these next few weeks. I was reading yesterday - Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. NIV - From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it. AMPLIFIED BIBLE - And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize--a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion]. It is time to seize it – Take hold of it passionanately. We are to be passionate concerning the Kingdom of God! If you want to be a part of the Kingdom – You must have Passion for God and Compassion for People. We get so passionate about everything else – our favorite ball team, our favorite restaurant – our friends and family. We get passionate about vacations and trips to special places. LET'S GET PASSIONATE ABOUT SERVING JESUS CHRIST and being a part of the Kingdom of GOD! Back to Noah's day – wickedness covered the earth. God said – I cannot take it anymore – Noah preached to them - prepared them – but they would not listen. The FLOOD CAME! But after 40 days and nights the rains stopped and God made a covenant with Noah and his decendents. Rainbow in clouds! Isaiah 59:19 - So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. Hosea 10:12 - Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. Matthew 17:21 - Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. Mark 9:29 - And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. Some of us are wanting Miracles – Healings – Homes restored – Families together – children delivered – financial breakthroughs – But we want it to come at NO COST TO US! 2 Samuel 24:18 And Gad came that day to David, and said unto him, Go up, rear an altar unto the LORD in the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite. 19And David, according to the saying of Gad, went up as the LORD commanded. 20And Araunah looked, and saw the king and his servants coming on toward him: and Araunah went out, and bowed himself before the king on his face upon the ground. 21And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshing floor of thee, to build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people. 22And Araunah said unto David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what seemeth good unto him: behold, here be oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood. 23All these things did Araunah, as a king, give unto the king. And Araunah said unto the king, The LORD thy God accept thee. 24And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. 25And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel. If you care about your PROMISE – YOUR DESTINY… Then DO SOMETHING about it – Dig in – Dig Deep – Sweat a little – Sacrifice some – Call on the name of the Lord – Get serious about serving God. Some are wondering why is my blessing not here – why do I feel I am on a Merry Go Round – This is Your TIME! This is a season where Judah (Praise), Zebbulan (Prosperity), and Issachar (Prophetic) join together for a time of Fulfillment of things that have seemingly been paused or delayed… I am asking all of our Leadership and regular attenders to fast and pray with us for 21 days of Sacrifice and then the fountains of the deep will be broken up and God will send us Supernatural Rain from Heaven. This is such an exciting time to be a follower of Jesus Christ. I truly believe as if we are living Acts 29…. Get ready for a season of Miracles, Signs and Wonders!!! God expects all of us to fast. The Pharasees fasted three days a week! I have had people tell me – I would fast but I get hungry when I fast. I have had others say – You can't go without food for 10 days or more – you would die! People have such funny ideas – You will not die – but there are somethings in you that WILL die! People ask me if I see Visions and have Dreams when I fast! Yes – Visions of Strawberry Pie – Pecan Pie, Bryers Ice Cream! Fasting is not easy nor fun fasting. It is a Sacrifice to fast. Fasting humbles us. In Matthew chapter 6, Jesus names three things that Christians do: "When you pray … when you give … when you fast." He didn't say "if" but "when." ?If you set apart the first days of the year to fast, you will set the course for the entire coming year, and God will add blessings to your life all year long. God's principal of "First Things" is clearly stated in Exodus 13:11-12…. ?What you put first will order the rest. That is why it is so important to begin this first month with Prayer and Fasting. There are 4 different ways to fast: 1. Full Fast, drink only liquids 2. Three day fast…Can be any of the fasts for 3 days 3. Half day Fast… from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. or sun­up to sun­down.
